Introduction for Drive Selection Tools

 

The aim of this Webpage is to do an easy selection of the right drive size and find related information in an easy and comfortable way.

Here is a short description of each modul:

 

Current calculation

This can be used for calculating the motor current by given motor power and voltage.
Standard values for Efficiency & Power factor are predefined, but could be changed.

Button Calculate  starts calculating the current

Button Apply  -> transfers the current/voltage to

  ATV6xx/9xx Search when voltage = 380/400/440/460/480/600/600/690

  ATV6000 Search when voltage = 2300/2400/3300/4160/5500/6000/6300/6600/10000/11000/13800

 

 

ATV Process 6xx/9xx

This modul is for searching the right inverter based on given motor current, voltage, Duty mode and ambient ambitions.

 

Duty Mode:

·         Normal Duty  -> Selection based on currents for Normal Duty ratings

·         Heavy Duty    -> Selection based on currents for Heavy Duty ratings

·         User defined: -> Selection based on  overload in % written in this field.

ATV 6000

This modul is for searching the right inverter based on given motor current, power, voltage, Duty mode and ambient ambitions.

 

 

Duty Mode:

·         Normal Duty  -> Selection based on currents for Normal Duty ratings

·         Heavy Duty    -> Selection based on currents for Heavy Duty ratings

·         User defined: -> Selection based on overload in % written in this field.

                             Criterias: Max. current of Power Cell, transformer capacity

Max. requested shaft power will be considered!

 

 

ATV 1200

This modul is for searching the right inverter based on given motor current, voltage, Duty mode and ambient ambitions.

Note: This form is normally hidden. It can be activated by DoubleClick on the green header “Drive Selection Tools” and hidden by OneClick.

 

 

Duty Mode:

·         Normal Duty  -> Selection based on currents for Normal Duty ratings

·         Heavy Duty    -> Selection based on currents for Heavy Duty ratings

·         User defined: -> Selection based on overload in % written in this field.

                             Criterias: Max. current of Power Cell, transformer capactiy

Max. requested shaft power will be necessary and considered when selected “User defined Overload”
